Ugh I was tricked TRICKEDAnd by my own self which really embitters meI have a boring personal story that explains why I listened to this book and didn t give up when I realized I had picked the wrong piece of entertainment It s here view spoilerI had to buy a new used car at the end of October I couldn t afford to get my beloved vehicle fixed again so car payments it is I m still pretty upset about it all My new used car is a 2001 VW one previous owner upgraded with many whistles and bells including a 6 disc CD changerIn the trunkBecause that s how they did it back thenSo let me paint you a picture Once upon a time I used to pop CDs into my in dash CD player and listen to whatever I liked Now I load 6 discs into the magazine that s what the stereo display calls it cuz I ve apparently got a gun minded stereo lock everything down close the trunk get into the car turn on the stereo press the CD button and sounds come out the speakers If a story is annoying I can t just eject the damn CD while on the road and put in something else I have to switch to the radio and wait until I m at my destination to open my trunk unlock the CD changer case open the little door eject the magazine take the magazine to the car where the CD case is push all 6 CDs out of the changer and put all 6 CDs back into the case then return the magazine to the changer in the trunk lock it all back up and shut the trunkDo you know how high end that was 15 years ago Can you guess how low end that is nowThere s a much better chance of me committing to audiobooks now even if I don t like themThat s what happened here hide spoiler
